Birgitta Wallace participated in the excavations in L'Anse aux Meadows in the 1960s and was the chief archaeologist on site for Parks Canada later-on. She is one of the leading experts on the Norse western voyages and familiar with most of the Vinland theories of scholars and lay enthusiasts. < back
