flocked stairway

A flock of shrill coloured objects is falling from above and spreading in a channelled disorder down a stairway - or is it turning up and away through the air? The installation though basically static suggests a drive in an undetermined direction.
The origin of this flock of objects equally remains undetermined: Are they living organisms or heaped up goods? Are they extraterrestrial, earthly or submarine? In any case they fill the stairway - against the light the walls even reflect the luminescent pink and orange paint.
