fog's trot video, 2:59 min, Austria, 2009 > view video on vimeo above: video still A phenomenon occurring at the end of a sunny day and caused by the drop in temperature and the resulting redistribution of air layers is visualized through an extreme time lapse: The emerging fog is not simply coming up or going down but moving back and forth, increasing and decreasing in density. By the accelerated pace the movement adopts a dynamic, almost rhythmic character that stands in irritating contrast to the ephemeral nature of fog. The video was realized during an Artist Residency at the Salzamt, Linz a.d. Donau, Austria. < overview works
